Custom borders - the star of the show

This is a table runner I created to play with an intricate custom border.

To get to the fun border I used Q-matic to create the Ribbon candy and medallions on the panels. The interlocking rings and cornerstones are accented with gold metallic thread by Superior Threads. Then I played with a few fill designs I picked up during workshops with Jamie Wallen of Quilters Apothecary.

For most custom wall hangings I selected Dream 80/20 to stabilize and Dream Wool to accent the intricate fills.
